Laboratories

The Department has three laboratories:

• laboratory of Information technologies in educational process» (116);
• laboratory «communication Systems» (213);
• laboratory «Information technologies» (218).

The laboratory of «Information technologies in educational process» was created as a specialized audience for unit controls and testing on subjects, which are taught at State University of telecommunications, laboratories of «Systems of communication» and «Information technology» as an educational laboratory using modern personal computers.

Laboratory works cover a significant sections of educational disciplines: «Computer networks and the Internet», «systems of documentary telecommunication» «Telecommunications and information networks, «Global information infrastructure», «Scientific bases of teaching process in higher education», «Modern information technologies in science and education, the Basis of CASE-technologies».

Work stations were created for the students to use computers. Computers are equipped with software in accordance with the requirements of academic disciplines.

The research team of the Department has laboratory and practical works, in accordance with the Working training program of the disciplines. Methodical recommendations about performance of works are provided in electronic form at the training site of the State University of telecommunications according to the discipline.

Despite changes in technology and the demands of the time, labs are updated and finalized.

All teaching material in electronic form is presented in the library of State University of telecommunications.

Lecture №106 and №218 is equipped with the interactive boards, and no 213 - plasma TV.

Wide introduction of multimedia - presentation of the material in the form of presentations, promotes the efficient use of training time and better assimilation of the material.

The Department establishes the Foundation of visual materials - posters, slides. The laboratory «Information technologies» (aud. 218) is equipped with visual stands (discipline TIN).
