General information

The Department of management of information security created in 2007 for training specialists in the field of knowledge 1701 «Information security».

The Department is in the direction of training:

• Bachelor - 6.170103 information security Management;
• Specialist - 7.17010301 information security Management;
• Master - 8.17010301 information security Management.

Graduates of the Department receive the qualification - 3439 Specialist information security organization with a generalized object of activity Management system for information security.

The specialists in organization of information security are used in different spheres of national activity:

• in the sphere of state management and power structures;
• in the sphere of banking activities;
• in the organizations and agencies of commercial areas;
• in the field of telecommunications and information technologies.

Training of specialists is conducted according to the standards of MES of Ukraine.
The main developer of standards in the areas of «information security Management» is a working group of specialists from the security service of Ukraine and other leading universities of Ukraine.
