Transmission of mobile multimedia information. Presentation of degree works

December 17, 2015 young specialists from RTS-72S students group successfully presented their diplomas in the field of modern radio technologies at the session of the examining board. They included innovative solutions for the development of modern mobile multi-service networks. Rapid development of up to date wireless and cellular communications in Ukraine, as well as in the world, makes those solutions very topical. The questions concerning introduction of new services are both very interesting and complicating. This is why the diplomas on specialty 'Radio communication, broadcasting, television equipment', dealing with research in new generation mobile networks drew wide attention. Among the best works the board marked those of, Jastremsky Bogdan and Tatiana Makarevich.

Introduction of 3G mobile networks proved to be attractive for investors. But without securing high level of data protection in the most broad sense of the term this would be really doubtful, regardless whatever improvements one introduces.

All this makes the work by Prokopishin Olga concerning recommendations on securing 3g networks up to date and challenging. In it she deals with security threats and vulnerabilities in 3g networks and the ways of tackling them.

Currently wireless technologies gain more ground due to such properties as mobility, coast, efficiency and flexibility. Still, one of the major obstacles one the way is low level of protection offered by the standard protocols. Nowadays there are different developed technologies able to provide data protection sufficient for most tasks. This is why testing such technologies with the aim of enhancing capabilities of wireless networks is very important and timely.

Bearing in mind those problems Tantsyura Andrew researched mechanisms of data protection for the standard 802.11 (wi-fi) which is the most widespread due to its cost effectiveness and functionalities.
