Amateur radio direction finding in parks – it is not only game: lesson 2

At the opening lesson on radiosport (1 lesson) master of sports with "Ukraine Radioamator League" Nikolai Ivanchikhin introduced a group of students RTD-31 directions of preparation "Radio" to the basic skills of handling the card, as well as the simplest instrument for land navigation and drawing plans and maps - compass. The second lesson students  acquainted with the principles and complexities radio orienteering in forests and parks. To do this you must be able to practically apply the procedure of "laying track" radio orienteering, as the participant should be able to find your sources by tracking it with the help of directional antennas and receivers. These issues are virtually under the guidance of the master of sports of Mary Panciuc students practiced in Goloseyevsky forest that is cut by deep ravines, steep slopes and a lot of hiding places, where it is difficult to reach.
