Parks as a natural environment are heterogeneous systems consisting of air and randomly distributed in space matter. It is also include a different shape, size and spatial orientation of the trunks, branches, leaves, needles, and so forth. Properties of park arrays depend on their age, the time of year, weather conditions, wind loads, and so on. That is mean that environment of park is randomly changing in both space and time. This leads to the diffusion of signals in parks, multiple scattering, diffraction and absorption of electromagnetic waves by park vegetation elements. The amplitude and phase of the radio waves propagating therein undergo spatio-temporal fluctuations.
Experimental research of spreading radio wave signal in park zone not fully classified and has not accurate results. The main problem is in the definition of the basic parameters of the park arrays that affect the distribution of signal. Virtually impossible to determine direct measurement methods. These features of the propagation of radio waves in the parks play an important role in the radio sport.
Therefore, students of RTD-11 group at the lesson of mug "Innovators amateur radio" conducted a practical exercise in the park under the direction of experienced instructors by "League Radioamators of Ukraine".
