NBU has decided to protect the information security of banks

The regulator adopted a resolution on the approval of regulatory legal acts on issues of information security. Board of the National Bank of Ukraine, November 26, 2015 passed a resolution N829 «On approval of legal acts on information security," according to LigaBusinessInform. This document regulates the number of information security issues of the NBU, said the regulator's official website informs eizvestia.com.

Resolution approves regulations on information security - provision for the protection of electronic bank documents using remedies to the NBU; rules for the organization of protection of electronic bank documents using remedies to the NBU; To confirm the position of the state of information security in banks and other institutions that use data protection NBU.

Decree N829 made to resolve the relationship between the National Bank and banks and other institutions that are directly involved in electronic payment system or the information problems of the NBU, in the part of these institutions by means of information protection.

Decree N829 also implemented a centralized procedure for the conclusion and management of contracts to ensure that banks and other institutions remedies NBU.
